...again.
<cough>
But as I'm working, I'd really like to know what you enjoy about homeschool conventions. What do you find helpful when you get to a convention? Specifically, what do you look for at Sonlight's booth? What have you wished was there but wasn't? What would you love to see/have/access while wandering a homeschool convention floor?
Your input is appreciated as I continue to think through this project...

I'm a big 'hands on' person. I like to be able to see stuff up close and personal ~ and look!! :)
I'm hands on too, and I was disappointed that the booth did not have all of the books this year for P3/4 and P4/5. This was at AFHE om Phoenix.
Yep, being able to flip through books is a huge part of it <smile>.
I'm sorry, Meli Mama. Unfortunately for conventions, Sonlight is so robust, our Curriculum Consultants can't possibly bring every title we carry. I hope you were able to get a good feel for what's included even without everything there.

In June I had my first experience at the HS Convention in Richmond, VA. I stopped by the SL booth and got a copy of the catolog and a free pen. Nice. I already had in mind what I needed to do - look through the IG for Core 3 and Core 3+4 to finalize me decision. Knowing how extensive a SL library is (I know Cores 1, 2, and 3 plus Science and elective have a good bit of room in our library at home) perhaps the consultants could be sure to bring the books that one would miss if they did plus Cores verses individual cores. Reading through the forums I think this topic comes up a good bit of the time - i.e. what books will I miss if I do a combined core - am I missing that much... BTW I chose to expand it and go with the individual cores.
Christie, that's interesting. I'll think about how to incorporate that into the website. That'd be a start at least... Thanks for the idea!
